27-year-old reportedly robs juvenile at gunpoint in Bloomington High School South parking lot

A 27-year-old man was arrested Friday after police say he robbed a juvenile at gunpoint at Bloomington High School South.

Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Brandon Siniard said a juvenile male reported around 5:30 a.m. Friday that Jermel Reason Jr. had entered his car without permission. The victim told police he and Reason had an altercation earlier in regards to an alleged vehicle accident.

After Reason entered the car, he produced a firearm and took the victim's wallet, cash and debit card, Siniard said. The victim was uninjured.

After the victim reported the incident, police located Reason and arrested him on charges of robbery and unauthorized entry into a vehicle.
