A man used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase $33 worth of cigarettes from the Circle K gas station on West Kirkwood Avenue on Friday night, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Benjamin Burns said.
A video showed the suspect to be a 30- to 40-year-old white male with light brown hair, a receding hairline and tattoos on his left arm, Burns said.
The suspect left the Circle K in a white pickup truck with a trailer, the video showed. There was writing on the driver's side door, but it could not be read from the video.
