The Hoosier Link program is a partnership between IU-Bloomington and Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington thatallows Ivy Tech students to transfer to IU after meeting a certain GPA. Now, some of the program’s requirements are being changed.

Right now, students who are earning credits from Ivy Tech Bloomington through Hoosier Link must live on the IU-Bloomington campus. Beginning in August, students who live off campus will be able to join the program, according to an IU press release.

This is to help students who have obligations that don’t allow them to live on campus, according to the release.

Ivy Tech students can transfer after one semester if they’ve completed 15 credit hours and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. They can transfer later if they have at least a 2.5 GPA in at least 26 credit hours.
