Two saws stolen from Bloomington home

Two saws were allegedly stolen from an East Kennedy Court home Friday night, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Shane Rasche said.

Rasche said the homeowner returned from Walmart around 8:45 p.m. to find his black dual saw and green actace miter saw, worth about $200 each, missing.

The man’s daughter, who lives next door, received an alert on her phone from the home’s alarm system, police said.

She told police she looked outside and saw a man knocking on the front door of her father’s home. The man then left and got in a beat-up black truck.

She told officers she went over to check on the house but didn’t see any signs of a break in.

She then called her father, who returned and realized the saws were gone, police said.
