Two guitars, one bass taken from Rewind Music Studios

The owner of Rewind Music Studios called police Friday after realizing two guitars and one bass were missing from his business.

A blue fender Stratocaster guitar, a fender jazz bass and a Peavey electric guitar were missing.

The owner said he returned to the store Friday to find a door unlocked that he was sure he had locked the night before.

The manager of a nearby restaurant, Malibu Grill, then told Rewind Music Studios’ owner the music studio’s cash box was lying in an alley behind the restaurant Friday morning.

Rewind Music Studios’ manager told police there was only loose change in the cash box when he left Thursday night.

Police reviewed surveillance footage of the area but did not see anyone carrying guitars away from the business, Bloomington Police Department Lt. Ryan Pedigo said.

Pedigo said there are currently no suspects in the burglary.
