One man was injured in a shooting Sunday night at Arlington Valley Mobile Park that police said stemmed from a domestic dispute.
Officers are still searching for the suspect but do not believe the public is in danger.
“This seems like an isolated incident,” Bloomington Police Department Lt. John Kovach said.
Police were called to Arlington Valley Mobile Park on North Willis Drive around 11 p.m. Sunday after neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
Two women, 36 and 37 years old, and one man were in the mobile home when police arrived.
The 35-year-old man suffered one gunshot wound to his left hand and one to his upper torso. Kovach said he has already been treated, released from the hospital and interviewed by police.
The suspect, a 39-year-old man, fled the scene in a car before officers arrived, but Kovach said police know who they’re looking for.
One of the women in the trailer was reported to be the suspect’s wife. She told officers her husband forced his way into the home and began shooting. Police said it is unclear who he was shooting at or what kind of gun he used.
BPD is currently searching for the suspect.
