IU's campus was flooded with new students this week as official move-in and welcome week activities began.
With about 8,100 students, IU's fall 2018 freshman class makes up the largest one ever. Here are some fast facts on the Class of 2022:
- Of those students, 4,600 are Indiana high school graduates.
- The students' median GPA is 3.83 and average SAT/ACT score is 1292.
- There are more than 1,300 underrepresented students as defined by IU.
- More than 60 percent of the class received some sort of financial aid.
- It is the second year in the last ten years that the incoming class has students from all 92 Indiana counties.
