IU junior starting pitcher Pauly Milto was named the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week on Monday, the conference announced in a press release.

Milto improved to 2-0 with a 95-pitch, complete-game performance against Boston College on Saturday during IU's 4-0 win. It was the first time Milto had pitched a complete game as a Hoosier.

The Eagles managed just four hits against Milto, and he struck out eight hitters as well.

Milto has not allowed a run in 15 innings pitched in 2018. He also pitched six scoreless innings in IU's first win of the season Feb. 17 against Kansas State.

It is the first time Milto has received the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor.

The last IU pitcher to earn Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honors was then-senior Kyle Hart in April 2016.
