Three IU football players suspended indefinitely

Sports Filler

IU Coach Tom Allen announced the indefinite suspensions of three IU football players Thursday morning.

Junior tight end Jordan Fuchs, sophomore quarterback Danny Cameron and sophomore defensive back Wesley Green are all suspended from the program indefinitely, Allen said. IU's head coach wouldn't give any explanation as to why.

All three have played varying roles with the team throughout their IU careers.

Before suffering a season ending injury in IU's 2016 season opener, Fuchs collected a total of seven receptions, three touchdowns and 69 yards in 19 games played. Cameron made just one appearance for the Hoosiers during the 2015 loss at Penn State due to injuries to quarterbacks Nate Sudfeld and Zander Diamont.

Green transferred from South Carolina after the 2014 campaign and sat out 2015 due to NCAA transfer rules, but was suspended indefinitely before the 2016 season opener. According to IU Athletics, Green did eventually make appearances in wins against Maryland and Purdue.
