Amber Alert canceled in Prince's Lakes

John Rader

An amber alert was issued for two boys believed to have been abducted by their father. Both children were found safely and alerts were canceled.

Avery Rader, 10, and Zek Rader, 6, were found at 9:15 p.m. in Brown County, according to the Prince's Lakes Police Department. The children were previously last seen in Prince's Lakes, a town 39 miles south of Indianapolis, at about 4:40 p.m., according to a release from Indiana State Police.

Avery is four feet tall and 60 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Zek is three feet tall and 40 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes.

The Prince's Lakes Police Department believes 40-year-old John Rader, who does not have custody of his sons, abducted the boys. Rader is white and 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is driving a white 2007 Ford 500 with black tinted windows, two breast cancer stickers and Indiana license plate number 727MIO, according to the release.

Police ask that anyone with information call the Prince's Lakes Police Department or 911.
