At approximately 10:15 pm Tuesday, an IU student was reportedly assaulted by four males near the Atwater Parking Garage, according to an IU Bloomington Crime Alert.
The garage is located on Faculty Drive between Third Street and Atwater Avenue. The assault reportedly took place on the east side of the garage.
The victim reported that the assaulters, who were all wearing gym shorts, seemed to be younger than college aged and that one of them might have been carrying an Airsoft pistol.
After the assault, the suspects headed north towards Third Street. A representative from the Bloomington Police Department was unavailable for comment.
