High schooler threatens girlfriend with knife

From IDS reports

A 16-year-old male was referred to probation for intimidation and possession of a knife on school property at Bloomington High School South at about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Lt. Brad Seifers said.

When Bloomington Police Department officers arrived at the school, the student and the victim were in the principal’s office. The male had reportedly threatened a female student, who had broken up with him after she had texted another male. The juvenile did not open the folding pocket knife, Seifers said.

The juvenile told officers he did not make any threats but he did tell the girl to get away from him.
