There are two challengers to John Boehner to become the next Speaker of the House for the U.S. House of Representatives: Rep. Louis Gohmert, R-1st District, and Rep. Ted S. Yoho, R-3rd District.
Between the two challengers, Yoho was a co-sponsor of the Fair Tax Act of 2013 in the last Congress.
You should urge your congressman to cast his or her vote for Rep. Ted S. Yoho.
Speaker Boehner has been a good tactician and brings experience, but time has come for a change.
Particularly disappointing was the long life of Speaker Boehner’s continuing budget resolution (with the exception of the budget for Homeland Security) that effectively threw away the most powerful control that the House of Representatives has.
Mr. Boehner’s timidity about a possible shutdown of the government and his avidness to get along also guide too much of his ?thinking.
Weighing all factors, it is time for a change.
