Woman reports sexual battery

Bloomington police are investigating a reported sexual battery with an unidentified suspect.

A 22-year-old woman reported the incident occurred on the city’s west side, but declined to receive a sexual assault medical examination Saturday.

The woman was impaired when she made the report to police, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Joe Crider said. Detectives are following up with further interviews.
