7 p.m. UPDATE: Duke Energy reported 1,696 Monroe County customers are currently without power. Duke also reported 62,773 customers in Indiana are without power.

5 p.m. UPDATE: A meteorologist with the National Weather Service confirmed a tornado warning in Monroe County has expired. Duke Energy is reporting 1,039 power outages in Monroe County.
The meteorologist said significant tornado damage was reported in Vincinnes, Ind., and Washington, Ind., southwest of Bloomington.
UPDATE: At 3:51 p.m., another "large and extremely dangerous" tornado was seen eight miles west of Bedford, Ind., according to a tweet from the Indianapolis section of the National Weather Service.
A tornado warning has been issued for the Southern portion of Monroe County, south of Bloomington.
At 3:46 p.m., the National Weather Service warned an "large and extremely dangerous" tornado was sighted 11 miles north of Shoals, Ind., near Bedford, Ind.
The National Weather Services advises all in the area to take shelter immediately.
