A 19-year-old female IU student reported to police she was raped by someone she knew.
The IU Police Department is investigating the woman’s report of forcible rape.
The offense was reported to IUPD at about 1 a.m. Monday, IUPD Lieutenant Craig Munroe said.
The woman reported the rape occurred Oct. 12 on the 1400 block of North Jordan Avenue.
A second IU student reported a rape Monday to IUPD. The 19-year-old woman reported that a forcible rape occurred Oct. 18 at Willkie Quad.
Munroe said the victim knew the suspect. Both crimes are currently under investigation.
