Man charged with battery for assaulting Dunnkirk bouncer

A man was arrested during the early morning hours Sunday after reportedly punching a Kilroy’s Dunnkirk bouncer in the face.

Bloomington police officers arrested Tyler Bandy, 21, on preliminary charges for battery and disorderly conduct.

Bandy is currently booked at the Monroe County Jail with his bond set at $1,000 surety and $500 cash.

The bouncer was escorting Bandy, who was reportedly intoxicated and disorderly, out of the bar when the battery occurred. The bouncer sustained minor injuries from the incident, including a bloodied nose.
