Rupert Boneham

Libertarian

Boneham

Gubernatorial Candidate
Running mate: Brad Klopfenstein

Boneham is a community organizer and founder of the mentoring program Rupert’s Kids, which provides mentoring and educational programming to at-risk Indianapolis youth. He also created the Park Adoption Program, which provides a work project for young people in his mentoring proram. He also owns production company Tournament Towers. Boneham previously worked with young offenders in the court system. He was also a contestant, and prize-winner for fan favorite, on the reality show Survivor.

Boneham’s goals  can be found on his website, and include creating jobs through creating an environment that encourages entrepreneurship and business growth and eliminating wasteful government spending, protecting 4th and 10th Ammendment rights, reforming election codes to promote discussion and prevent unbalanced district mapping, promoting school choice in education, and reforming the criminal justice system.

In the last gubernatorial debate, Boneham stated “When no one thought that that reality star from that silly tv show was going to be running for governor, I said ‘I am.’ I said it’s our time, it’s our time to stand up, to be counted, to show that the person out there that has been giving back for years, that has created multiple charities, multiple opportunities, multiple business deserves to be on that stage…I want to spread our ideas, our empowerment, our small business initiative, our tax reform, our criminal justice reform, our empowerment across the state of Indiana. If we do that in the first step we won’t be saving hundreds of thousands, we’ll be saving hundreds of millions. Remember, a vote for me is not a wasted vote.  A vote for me is a vote for all of us.
