IU Professor Harold Ogren will speak at 7 p.m. today about the Higgs boson particle, which he says “may be the biggest news in physics in over 50 years,” according to a press release.
Ogren has been working with the team that made the discovery for more than 20 years.
After his talk, there will be a question and answer session with Ogren and other IU physicists who have worked on this discovery.
The talk will be in the Indiana Memorial Union Whittenberger Auditorium.
