A woman reported being sexually assaulted at the Hampton Inn, 2100 N. Walnut St., early Saturday morning, Lt. Faron Lake of the Bloomington Police Department said.
Hotel security reported the sexual battery incident at about 5 a.m. Saturday after the victim ran out of a room yelling, Lake said.
The victim had been with friends at Brothers Bar and Grill, where they met three male subjects who brought the victim and her friends to the Hampton Inn to “hang out,” Lake said. The victim reportedly did not remember going to the hotel.
At some point, the victim went into a different hotel room, where she came into contact with two men who were described as in their mid-30s, dark-skinned, thin and about 6-feet tall. They escorted her to another room, where the three people had a conversation. The victim reported that they sexually assaulted her while she was in the room with them, Lake said.
BPD is still investigating the case.
