Man assaulted outside Night Moves

A detective from the Bloomington Police Department is currently investigating a possible assault outside Night Moves on South Walnut Street.

Management at the establishment called police at about 3 a.m. Sunday after finding a man outside on the ground, BPD Lt. Bill Parker said. The man was intoxicated and had been attacked.

The man told police five to eight individuals had attacked him outside, Parker said. The man had visible injuries that corroborated his story.

The victim was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital. A witness who was sitting with the victim inside Night Moves said he didn’t notice anything odd before the attack, but Parker said he identified a possible suspect.
