Indiana is below average in growth and number of green jobs, according to a survey from the Brookings Institution
Indiana as a whole has increased the number of green jobs in its economy by 1.5 percent since 2003, but that only puts the state at the number 45 spot out of all 50 states.
Most states saw at least a 3 percent increase and many as much as 10 percent.
Indianapolis ranks 35th out of 100 metropolitan regions in the number of green jobs.
