See the city from the air this weekend

Bloomington residents have the chance to see the city from the air this weekend.

An historic, fully-restored 1929 Ford Tri-Motor plane will be on display and open for rides at the Monroe County Airport from June 2 to 5. Tickets are $60 per person.

The plane was featured in the 2009 film “Public Enemies” and the 1965 film “The Family Jewels.” It has also been used as the official plane of the president of the Dominican Republic.
