The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of many roads due to high water in nearby counties. The closures will remain in effect until the water recedes. A vehicle can stall in only six inches of water, and can float in 12.

FLOYD/HARRISON COUNTIES:
SR 111 from Corydon Pike to Dam 43
SR 11 from SR 135 to SR 337
JACKSON COUNTY:
SR 39 between CR 325 E and CR 600 S near Tampico
SR 235 between Medora and SR 135 S
SR 250 between SR 11 and US 31
SR 258 from Vehslage Road to CR 425 E
US 31 between CR 560 N and CR 700 N
JEFFERSON COUNTY:
US 250 from SR 3 to SR 7
SCOTT COUNTY:
SR 256 between I-65 and SR 39
SWITZERLAND COUNTY:
SR 56 at Lamb Drive and Detour Road
