A section of fabric roof at the Indianapolis International Airport collapsed Saturday night.
Airport Public Relations Manager Susan Sullivan currently believes the collapse was due to a buildup of ice and snow following last week’s storms. Three of the 14 panels of the canopy split at the seams.
The entire parking structure has been closed for safety reasons by airport police and fire and maintenance crews.
The collapse damaged no personal vehicles, though several rental cars were damaged.
