Weather.com has issued a wind advisory for Bloomington, Ind. that lasts until 8 p.m.
Expect winds of 30 mph and possibly up to 50 mph. Vehicles should be
prepared for strong winds and people should use caution while driving.
Outdoor items should be secured and minor tree damage may occur.
Vehicles with a high center of gravity should use extra
caution.
The early morning storm Tuesday left more than 2,500 Duke Energy customers without power.
The company is still in the process of evaluating the wind damage caused by the storm, and there is no estimated time of when power will be restored, a Duke Energy representative said.
Although streets flooded following the heavy rain, Bloomington only received .40 of an inch. There are no more storms in today’s forecast. The high for today is expected to be 75 and with a low of 40 degrees, a representative from the National Weather Service said.
