Rep. Baron Hill will visit Monroe Democratic Headquarters today

Rep. Baron Hill (D-9) will be visiting Bloomington today. He will be coming to the Monroe County Democratic Party Headquarters at 4 p.m. to fire up his volunteers as well as visit with supporters.

The Monroe County Democratic Party Headquarters is located at 320 E. Third Street.

Rep. Hill has been the 9th district representative for almost 12 years. He was first elected to Congress in 1998 and is currently serving his fifth term. Hill will be running for reelection this November.

The New York Times has deemed the race between Hill and Republican candidate Todd Young to be a toss up.

Hill is scheduled face off against Young and Libertarian candidate Greg Knott in the Indiana 9th District Congressional debate Oct. 18 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
