IU offering workshop tonight addressing sexual assault

A two-part series addressing sexual assault prevention will be at 8 p.m. today in the Student Recreational Sports Center Auditorium.

The first workshop, which is sponsored by the Office of Women’s Affairs, Jill Behrman 5K Committee and Campus Recreational Sports, titled “Silent Epidemic: Sexual Assault on College Campuses” will highlight research on sexual relations, assault and crime.

The second workshop, titled “Becoming Active Bystanders: Sexual Assault Prevention for the Rest of Us,” will be Oct. 13 at the same time and place.
Both presentations are free and open to the public.
