Senior Esther Uduehi has been selected as IU’s presidential student intern for 2010
and 2011.
As the second-ever intern, Uduehi will serve on the new University Steering Committee on New Directions in Teaching and Learning, which will examine the University’s approach to teaching and learning, according to a press release.
Uduehi is a Herman B Wells Scholar and a biochemistry and mathematics major.
She is currently vice president of the Board of Aeons — a 12-member student board that conducts research projects for the president’s office.
Uduehi also recently received the Kenneth R.R. Gros Louis Scholarship, named after the former IU chancellor, and the Council on Advancing Student Leadership Top Ten Student Leader Award.
The intern was a former high school valedictorian.
