Official figures for fall 2010 released Tuesday show IU has set another
university-wide enrollment record with 109,445 students at all eight
campuses.
This is a 2.1 percent increase from last year’s record of 107,160. This
is also the third consecutive year enrollment has topped 100,000.
Also a first, Indiana University-East is no longer the smallest of IU’s
campuses. The school saw the largest increase of all, with a 19.5
percent increase from its fall 2009 record. IU-Kokomo is now the
smallest campus.
Undergraduate enrollment increased by 2.6 percent this semester, up to
88,067 students. Graduate student enrollment also increased, with 21,278
in total and doctoral-practice student enrollment up 8.1 percent to 989
students.
