Mellencamp to perform Oct. 29 at IU Auditorium

John Mellencamp will open his "No Better Than This" tour Oct. 29 at the IU Auditorium.

The tour will celebrate the Aug. 17 release of his new album "No Better Than This."

The show itself is intended to feel like an intimate concert with Mellencamp sharing songs from across his career, according to a press release.

Additionally, it will feature a screening of the film "It's About You," which was shot during Mellencamp's tour with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson throughout last year.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday through the IU Auditorium box office and their website. No price has been released at this time.

“I’m very excited to have the opportunity at this time in my life to go on tour and present these songs in this manner," Mellencamp said in the release.
