Among the five pitchers to throw Tuesday was new roster addition Alex Zerman, who threw two innings, surrendering three hits, while striking out a pair in his debut.

Sophomore catcher Josh Lyon hit his sixth home run of the season, blasting a towering solo shot to left in the third inning. He is now slugging .682 on the season.
