IU’s Center for Health Policy and Professionalism Research recently conducted a survey about Americans’ opinions about health care.
“When we looked at the responses of those who said they wanted to repeal the law and start from scratch, with the exception of the requirement that all Americans purchase health insurance, most of the things that they wanted are already written into the law,” director of CHPPR Dr. Aaron Carroll said in an IU press release.
He said Americans seem to oppose the mandate to buy health insurance and therefore are pushing to repeal the law.
