Research & Technology Corp. adds Peterson to directors

Dan Peterson, a Cook Group veteran executive, will join the Indiana University Research & Technology Corp. board of directors.

Peterson, an IU alumnus, is currently Cook’s vice president for industry and government affairs, where he oversees industry, government and external relations.

“His extensive background in the medical technology and economic development arenas and board experience will assist the IURTC in reaching its goal of expanding and enriching IU industry collaborations,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Tony Armstrong in an IU press release.

IURTC is a not-for-profit organization and fosters collaboration between IU and private technology sectors to develop technology for creating jobs and expanding the state’s economy.

Peterson also serves on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Industry Trade Advisory Committee and is on several other boards.
