Monroe Hospital- an independent and privately operated hospital- in Bloomington is celebrating its third year anniversary this month.
With the hospital employing nearly 400 local residents, it serves the educational needs of the community through its involvement with IU and Ivy Tech and by supporting local government via its significant property tax contributions, according to a press release.
“Monroe Hospital is proud to serve more than 5,000 patients each month between the hospital and physician network, hospital CEO Fred Price said in a press release. “Our most recent Medicare-submitted patient satisfaction survey data show Monroe Hospital placing in the 92nd percentile for overall inpatient satisfaction.”
Showing significant growth of the hospital’s physician network and providers they are inviting the public to stop by between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday at to enjoy a Birthday Open House complete with birthday cake and punch.
“We believe that every patient should have a medical home with a provider whom they trust,” said Matthew French, Vice President of the Physician Network and Business Development in a press release. “We have chosen to focus on hiring the best possible providers and offering superior access to those providers, which in our opinion is the best model to support high quality patient care.
