The State of the University Address scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday was postponed because IU professor Elinor Ostrom received the Nobel Prize in Economics, said Sarah Long of University Communications.
The address was originally set to take place Sept. 22, but was postponed after the death of former IU President Myles Brand. The address is for faculty to express concerns about financial needs not being met.
The University has not yet announced when it will reschedule the address.
