Indiana Memorial Union to open 24 hours

Parts of the Indiana Memorial Union will now be open 24 hours for hotel guests and students with a university ID.

The hotel lobby, the mezzanine level from the Student Technology Center to the East Lounge, the first floor’s South Lounge and the IMU Gallery will be open from 2 to 6 a.m., according to a release from IMU building manager Andy Smriga.

The new policy will be reviewed in 12 months to gauge whether there has been safety issues or other negative impacts.
