IU to offer discounted employee parking permits

IU is really going green.

The University is now offering employee discounts for those who own zero emission vehicles or a car that meets the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED criteria, according to an e-mail sent out by IU Parking Operations.

If an employee owns a car that meets the criteria, they are eligible to receive a 20 percent discount on an A or C permit.

IU Parking Operations manager Doug Porter was not available for an interview.

In order to receive the parking permit, the employee must bring their vehicle registration to the Office of Parking Operations.
