Man arrested for black tar heroin deal

A Bloomington man was arrested Tuesday for dealing black tar heroin to an undercover Bloomington Police Department informant.

Clark S. Johnson, 44, was arrested in the 300 block of West Gordon Pike for dealing a narcotic drug, Bloomington Police Department Capt. Joe Qualters said, reading from a police report.

Johnson was the target of a drug investigation by BPD, and at about 1:15 a.m., Johnson delivered black tar heroin to a confidential BPD informant, Qualters said.

Later that night, police pulled Johnson over and arrested him for the deal.  

Johnson was taken to the Monroe County Jail.
