The IU School of Law received $2 million from an IU alumnus to help fund scholarships.
The scholarship will be named after donor and alumnus Bill Hunt and his wife, Nancy Hunt, according to an IU press release. The V. William and Nancy B. Hunt Scholarship will reward Indiana residents who plan to attend one of IU’s campuses. Students pursuing a JD/MBA degree from the School of Law and the Kelley School of Business will receive preference.
Hunt’s gift will be matched by IU’s Matching the Promise campaign, according to an IU press release.
Bill Hunt is the chair of Hunt Capital Partners and has served as CEO of Arvin Inc. and president of ArvinMeritor, according to an IU press release. He has also served on the University’s Board of Visitors, the IU Foundation Board of Directors, the Kelley School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council and the chair of Indiana Law: Matching the Promise campaign.
