Phantom Regiment moved into second place Friday night edging out the Cavaliers by 0.175 points and closing to within 0.375 points of first place Blue Devils. The crowd began a standing ovation well before the show officially ended. The 2008 repertoire "Spartacus" is a contemporary revival of Phantom's well known 1981 and 1982 shows.
With a final score of 97.675 in Friday's DCI Semifinals, Phantom Regiment improved upon their 96.575 score from Thursday night's DCI Quarterfinals.
Phantom Regiment trails the Blue Devils by less than one point. The Cavaliers are in third place with a score of 97.550.
