Three thefts from vehicles were reported between 7:58 a.m. and 9:27 a.m. Tuesday in the same Bloomington neighborhood.
The first report at the 2200 block of South Oakdale Drive claimed
fishing equipment had been stolen out of a Jeep parked on the street.
The thief entered by unzipping the side window from the outside of the
vehicle.
Shortly after at 9:02 a.m., another theft was reported just down the
street at the 3400 block of Spruce Drive. A Pioneer CD player with
remote, iPod and black leather jacket were stolen, and the dashboard of
the car was damaged extensively.
The third theft was from another Jeep on Spruce Drive, where the thief
once again unzipped the side window and entered the vehicle, stealing a
stereo and causing damage to the dashboard.
