The IU Army ROTC was recently chosen as the top Senior Army ROTC program in the country for 2007, according to an IU news release.
The program, which was founded in 1840 in Bloomington, was chosen by the Order of the Founders and Patriots of America from 272 similar programs around the nation.
The Order is made up of individuals who identify themselves as descendants of the United States' first colonists and award groups and individuals who embody the same ideals, according to the news release.
