Convenient truths

Global warming is a hoax. As sitting Vice President, Al Gore gave very little attention to the “threat” of man-made global warming. Global warming is a fabrication of the Democratic Party and the liberal press to attract voters to the polls. Gore has created a political strategist’s masterpiece. He’s created a generational voting bloc comprised mostly of one-issue voting environmentalists who see that only the Democrats are concerned with this non-issue issue. So, they will vote for them for a whole generation. \nIn the 1970’s, liberals campaigned for “global cooling,” based upon trends from the 1940’s-1970’s. Time Magazine ran a 1979 feature on “The Cooling of America.” According to Gore, this is the number one-issue. This is more important than health care, Iraq, education or Darfur. This is a theory, however, and one needs almost as much faith as science to believe it. No one’s given much attention to scientists like Dr. Roy Spencer at the University of Alabama-Huntsville or Dr. Art Robinson or Frederick Seitz at the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine who both vehemently oppose the idea of man-made global warming. In fact, have you ever heard of the Oregon Petition Project? Over 19,000 American scientists have signed this petition denouncing man-made global warming. Over this past summer, NASA readjusted its records after once claiming that 1998, cited by Gore, was the hottest year in America ever. It turns out that 1934 was. NASA finally pointed out that five of the last ten hottest years occurred before WWII and three of the top ten are 1998, 1999, and 2006. This seems to be a trend: up in the ’30s, down until the late ’70s and up again since then – a natural trend in climate and not man-made. \nHow Mr. Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize when the environment has nothing to do with peace is beyond me. He’s even been able to convince his audience that he isn’t in this for political reasons and that he’s apolitical. He was in public office for nearly a quarter of a century! Al Gore is political. \nThese “green” campaigns are silly. Ford Motor Company released a commercial showing a girl who felt embarrassed when her dad dropped her off at the local theater in an SUV (a supposed cause of global warming), until she realized it was a hybrid. Now that’s ridiculous. Businesses today feel obligated to adopt the “green” campaign because they know that if they don’t, they’re in a public relations mess. \nSo many have questioned why Gore hasn’t entered the 2008 Presidential election race, and here’s why. He’s a liability. He knows that if he runs on something he made up to attract voters he won’t look especially formidable in the history books. For Gore, “global warming” is a political dream come true. This is all about control – controlling our votes, our businesses and soon, our lives if we let these politicians’ theories remain virtually untested. \nRemember these convenient truths; there are lies behind global warming.
