IU World’s Fare \nWhen: 5 p.m. today\nWhere: Alumni Hall of the Indiana Memorial Union\nMore information: The event, hosted by the Office of International Services and the Union Board, will have international groups representing their cultures through cultural displays, music, dance performances and food. Admission and food are free for IUB students.

Gypsy Cimbalom Band\nWhen: 8 p.m. today\nWhere: John Waldron Arts Center, 122 S. Walnut St.\nMore information: Kalman Balogh is one of the foremost Hungarian cimbalom players. His Gypsy Cimbalom Band blends the folk music of Central and Eastern Europe with the swinging, improvisational style of Gypsy Jazz. Tickets are $7 for students and seniors and $10 for the general public.

‘Measure for Measure’\nWhen: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday\nWhere: Ruth N. Halls Theatre\nMore information: Mistaken identity, lustful deceit and the corrupting force of power collide in Shakespeare’s classic tragicomedy “Measure for Measure,” presented by the IU Department of Theatre and Drama. Tickets are $13 for students and seniors and $16 for adults.

Jazz from Bloomington\nWhen: 7 p.m. Friday\nWhere: Bloomington Convention Center, 302 S. College Ave.\nMore information: The Al Cobine Big Band will play a tribute concert to Bloomington’s own Hoagy Carmichael. Refreshments will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $12 for the general public and $7 for Jazz from Bloomington members.

‘A Potpourri of the Arts’\nWhen: 8 p.m. Saturday\nWhere: Buskirk-Chumley Theater\nMore information: The 14th-annual “A Potpourri of Arts in the African American Tradition” will feature performances by the IU Soul Revue, the African American Dance Company and the African American Choral Ensemble. Tickets are $10 for students, $5 for student advance tickets and $15 for the general public.
