One week after its dominating victory at the Boilermaker Invitational, the men's golf team will enter the Kepler Intercollegiate in Dublin, Ohio, this weekend looking for its second championship in as many weeks.\nLast weekend's win was the lifting of the proverbial monkey from the Hoosiers' backs. Though a young team, IU had yet to win a championship despite its solid play and high finishes throughout the season. This, combined with the team's relative inexperience, the harsh playing conditions in West Lafayette and the highly talented Big Ten teams that competed, make last weekend's championship one of the most significant wins in the program's history, said IU coach Mike Mayer. \nThe Hoosiers have proven to the Big Ten that they can play and that they are serious contenders. But the young team now has to handle the pressure of living up to this buildup.\n"I think we were really relaxed going into (the Boilermaker Invitational), which is one reason we played well," Mayer said. "But I think whenever you win a tournament, especially a tournament that big, I don't know if it relaxes you more. I think it probably gets you a little tighter."\nBeaming with confidence, the Hoosiers feel they are up to this challenge, but one difficulty they might not be able to control is fatigue. This weekend's tournament will mark the second of five consecutive weeks of competition for the team. Mayer, who scheduled these events, said the team's strong play lately makes competing in consecutive weeks an advantage. Freshman Seth Brandon shared his coach's enthusiasm.\n"We want to go play, especially after a win," he said. "A lot of reporters asked Phil (Mickelson) the same question, 'If you've just won, maybe you've peaked.' He said it only built his confidence up and helped him, and you saw how he went out there and waxed the field (at the Masters)."\nFreshman Jorge Campillo did his own bit of "waxing" at the Boilermaker Invitational. His field-leading display last weekend won him the Big Ten Golfer of the Week award for the third time this season. This feat was last accomplished at IU in 2004 by current PGA golfer Jeff Overton, who received the award a record five times. \nDespite the team's success, Campillo won't be playing alongside the same four golfers from last weekend's victory. Senior Brad Marek will replace fellow senior Scott Seibert in this weekend's lineup. Marek, who has yet to see action in the spring, was considered one of the team's most talented players entering the season, and his return to the lineup has his teammates excited.\n"I think (Brad) is going to play well and help the team," Campillo said. "I think he's a really good player."\nMarek and Campillo will travel with sophomore Santiago Quirarte and freshmen Drew Allenspach and Brandon to Dublin. With a revamped lineup and a tournament championship now under their belts, the Hoosiers will enter the Kepler Intercollegiate with the mindset that they can win two straight.\n"We've proved to ourself that we can win," Brandon said. "Sometimes you get a little anxious trying to get that first win ... But we have a little more confidence in us after last week"
