Sister Wendy Beckett (1930-present) was born in South Africa. She studied at St. Anne's College in Oxford, England. Her love and knowledge of art landed her on PBS specials and documentaries on art appreciation. She's published more than 26 books on meditation and art and also writes for art magazines.
