Grad student cooks in contest

Students can earn extra cash in a variety of ways. IU graduate student Olgguittah Suarez has a different method of earning money. Suarez entered Cooking Light magazine's Holiday Table Setting Contest and is now one of 10 finalists vying for a $10,000 prize. Suarez's creation includes a pair of mini ice skates used as a pie plate and other details , like kids ice skating down a hill, that she made out of frosting.
