Evolution expert to speak on intelligent design Wednesday

Eugenie Scott, a national expert on the current controversy of teaching evolution and intelligent design in schools, will give a free public lecture 7 p.m. Wednesday at the IU Auditorium. The lecture is called "The Pillars of Creationism and the Teaching of Evolution." Scott is the executive director of the National Center for Science Education and is a strong defender of evolution.
