Do you think the Gaza pullout plan will work?

We are all hopeful that the withdrawal plan will go ahead as scheduled, but that does not mean that the Palestinians and Israelis can overcome their differences in other areas. The hotheads on either side can disrupt the withdrawal process if they choose to do so. What is most hopeful about the current situation is that both sides are tired of fighting (except for the extremists) and the death of Arafat offers at least a chance for movement. It is a good sign that Condoleezza Rice is showing the U.S. flag in the Middle East, since without a U.S. presence peace is unlikely to break out.
